Heysham Free Methodist Church

Last night I spoke at the Free Methodist Church at Heysham. This fellowship originally broke away from Methodism in the 1970s because of its liberalism and was led by the great Frank Mitchell. It continues to be an outward looking church; its recent family fun day was attended by over 500 people, including some Martin Toppers. It's situated in its own purpose-built building on Emmaus Road. Truly, this is a place where weary travellers might meet Christ.

The service was led by Dan, the popular church worker. The pastor, Mark, is a real man of God who radiates the love of Jesus. The church website is here: http://www.heyshamfreemethodist.org.uk/.
