Inglewhite Congregational Church

I know a good many churches around here. One with which I have had no contact is Inglewhite Congregational Church. Like Salem, it’s in the Congregational Federation and its website suggests it is made of fine evangelical fabric. I have written to them previously about some of our events but heard nothing back.

The chapel is located in an attractive village not far from Garstang. It's in Preston district bordering close to our own district of Ribble Valley. It has a large, attractive village green upon which is a stone pillar (once a market cross before some puritan hacked it down) bearing the image of a seventeenth century man and the date 1675.

The church hosts a number of events including an active children’s work. It was founded in 1819; she is our little sister.

Its website is here: www.inglewhitechurch.org.uk/. We pray God’s blessing upon our brothers and sisters in this church, and ask that He will make them a powerful witness to His grace.
