A Hymn for Good Friday:
Stretched on the cross, the Saviour dies;
Hark! his expiring groans arise!
See, from his hands, his feet, his side,
Runs down the sacred crimson tide!
But life attends each deathful sound,
And flows from every bleeding wound;
