A mixed up, muddled up, shook up world

Having had to do quite a bit more driving than I normally do this week, today I got onto listening to some of the rarer items in my collection. The lyric went, "Girls will be boys and boys will be girls. It's a mixed up, muddled up, shook up world." How very 2023 you might think! Indeed they are words that may well be used of today's Britain... except this is, of course, from the song "Lola" by The Kinks from 1970.

Ecclesiastes 1:9 (ESV) What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.
