Out of the Mouths of Hungarian Children

Last month, Hungarian school children booed the England Football team for ‘taking the knee’ while donning their Pride-themed arm-bands. This tokenistic gesture designed to assure all watching that the millionaire players of English football think racism and homophobia are bad, was ridiculed by the young Hungarian fans, despite all the adult football supporters being banned from the game. It seems that Hungarian youths can see through hypocrisy and charade more than British adults. Southgate, the England manager, dismissed it as ‘inherited thinking’. The England strips, with their pride colours, are not, of course, influenced by inherited thinking. That the equality agenda is being pushed and promoted by central government, the universities, local councils and big business has nothing at all to do with it. Sometimes, children can see more clearly than adults; grown-ups' pretence and charlatanism are exposed by the clear sight of youth.

Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants

You have ordained strength,

Because of Your enemies,

That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.

Psalm 8:2
