Tartin Mop: Zeimet Change

An important update from our friends at Ichabod Chapel:

Sadly, Ichabod Chapel at Tartin Mop will remain closed for many of the coming weeks on account of climate change. Two weeks ago, the ground was literally covered, yes, COVERED in frozen water which had been falling out of the sky...and a few days later, it was gone! Eight months ago, we had too much heat: the grass literally turned brown and we had to cover our skins in special chemical formulae to prevent our being burnt up. These conditions have never been seen before. When will we learn? When will we stop using fossil fuels which create such appalling conditions? Only we can save the planet and ourselves by using less energy. By the time I fly back from my retreat in Switzerland, the current climate emergency might re-allow our services to continue. We can only cross our fingers.

Yours Wokely,

Rev Dr Ms Alana Denmars (she/hers),

Ichabod Chapel, Tartin Mop
