Art of Fetlar

On the beach at Fetlar, one of Shetland’s North Isles, the tide had made a pretty pattern in the sand. The beach pebbles and rocks close by complemented the picture with their own hues and textures. Upon looking up, the clouds and sunshine formed a majestic canvas upon which a stunning beauty was painted.

Naturally, the tide came back and the clouds moved on. Yet day after day, this planet of ours displays a wondrous degree of beauty and artistry. Though fallen, it still manifests the most sublime resplendence. We live on a gigantic work of art, and its Creator is the most accomplished Artist there ever was. Any who think this planet to be a chance result of a random explosion need their eyes, hearts and brains examining. Not only would this check their levels of stupidity, it would provide yet further evidence of the Creator's intricate skill.

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,
What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him?

Psalm 8:3-4, NKJV

Lord, our Lord,
How excellent is Your name in all the earth!

Psalm 8:9, NKJV
