Some people sometimes say I do not use the Bible enough in my teaching and while I run the great churches that sit under my apostolic authority. Of course, having a hotline to heaven kinda means you don’t need to keep flicking through those old pages. It’s the difference between someone who knows a superstar personally, and those who have to make do with a boring, hardback biography. Anyway, here are some great truths I’d like my flock to contemplate. You don’t need to go look them up because I say they are right, but references I include for the sake of tidiness.

And they always believed the words of the prophets, yea, and honoured them mightily.

-Jedekiah 31:5

He that giveth to the shepherd, giveth to himself. He that denieth the shepherd, denieth himself.

-Hezekiel 15:13

He that tithes blesses the Lord; he that does not tithe curses his own soul.
