St Andrew's: Liberal Catholic

St Andrew's Church at Leytonstone strikes me as having the worst of both worlds, though its website quite underhandly, sees only advantages. It describes itself as of the liberal Catholic tradition, which means high, ritualistic worship couples with theological liberalism. So it has many of Roman Catholicism’s disadvantages (‘smells and bells’) without its fidelity to concepts like marriage and the trinity, while absorbing Low Protestantism’s infidelity to scripture but forsaking its plain worship. This is rather different to the Anglicanism of the Reformation of the sixteenth and eighteenth-centuries to which I might possibly have subscribed.
No, give me plain and Bible-based worship, and clear and Bible-based doctrines.
