1-2 Samuel: Test your Knowledge

My series on David is about to end. Interestingly, I’ve found a copy of my school’s Scripture exam from June 1885. It covers many of the chapters through which I have been preaching these past two years. Unlike modern assessors, the Victorian author did not feel it worthwhile to share with the candidates how many marks were available for each question. I have estimated that the whole paper is worth 43. To my embarrassment, I score myself a mere 17, suggesting that, despite being a pastor, my knowledge of scripture is inferior to that of a diligent Victorian teenager. Have a go yourself- how many can you get?
