God even uses little things for His Glory

I was blessed twice this morning at church. The words of Paul in Romans 8 came to mind:

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Two ladies came to worship with us. They had been walking past last summer, and hungry and thirsty, accepted our invitation to eat with us (we were having a fellowship lunch). They had resolved to return, and duly came this morning. I was glad to have them among us.

Having left chapel around 1.20, I had driven a mile or so when I remembered I'd left behind my iPad from which I had read a poem. Annoyed, I drove on, returning to the chapel via Rimington Lane. I wondered what good might come from this, having the aforementioned bible verse come to mind. I pulled up to find an elderly member of the congregation slowly getting out of his car. He had also returned, thinking he had left his wallet on the pew. I was able to open-up and conduct a search.

God uses the little things to His own glory, be that sharing hospitality or our own forgetfulness.
