Great Stairs: Chatsworth

The grand staircase at Derbyshire’s Chatsworth House has to be one of the highlights of the tour. In any other house, the stairs would attract and hold our gaze. Here, the room is so lavish and magnificent, that our eyes do not know where to look, even while descending those beautiful, coloured steps.
I suspect heaven will be like that when we first arrive. So much to see, so much to take in. Angelic hosts, other believers, the incredible light shows, the majesty and the glory. Even the staircases will be more wonderful than anything we have ever seen on earth.
And then we shall see Him.
In comparison, all else will appear drab and dreary, and even Chatsworth and its amazing staircase will look like something from a hen coup.

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1 Cor 2:9
