A Message from the Rimington Memorial Institute:

RIMINGTON MEMORIAL INSTITUTE

YOUR VILLAGE HALL COMMITTEE NEEDS

YOU

The Committee  needs new members to take it forward into the future, especially now that it has been refurbished and fitted with new kitchen equipment and acoustic panels.  These modernisations make it an attractive venue for many different kinds of events and meetings. Use it or lose it!

The present Treasurer and Secretary are retiring at the AGM,  which is to be held on

Wednesday the 21st  October at 7.30pm.  Do come along to this meeting and see what YOU could do by joining the Village Hall Committee.  The work is not arduous and can be enjoyable, for, without the efforts of volunteers the Institute cannot continue. New faces and ideas are always welcome.

The Hall was built as a memorial to those men of Rimington and Middop who gave their lives in the two great wars, and we owe it to them, and to future generations, to make sure this excellent facility flourishes, both as a remembrance of the past and a useful amenity for the future.

IF NOT YOU, WHO?  IF NOT NOW, WHEN?
