No Mums & Dads Allowed

“We try to talk about our ‘grown-ups’ rather than our ‘mums and dads’ to acknowledge the different family groupings our pupils live in.”

So reads the equalities policies of Elm Grove Primary School and Carlton Hill Primary School in the East Sussex city of Brighton. Five schools are now instructing their staff to avoid using gender-specific terminology for parents. Brighton has been at the forefront of radical ideology, with the town’s MPs often coming from the liberal-left. Yet again, gender ideology cancels the leaps made to recognise the existence and dignity of womanhood. I cannot think of a more ill-named town, increasingly known for its moral darkness and and crepuscular turpitude.
