Pregnant and Birthing People

Harvard Post-graduate Medical School laments the ‘worst outcomes’ suffered by ethnic minority ‘pregnant and birthing people’. We used to call such types ‘women’, but the Harvard wokesters consider this to be too outdated a term. To suggest that non-women cannot have babies is deeply offensive; suggesting that there are two sexes is anathema to all but the least informed. The Scottish NHS Inform website is little better, stating

The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists has more detailed guidance about COVID-19 for people who are pregnant including on self-isolating and guidance for pregnant people in the workplace (emphasis mine).

Reproduction is a special and beautiful privilege given to women by the Creator. Men contribute DNA and family structure, but they are not designed to bear new life. Universities and health experts’ insistence to the contrary merely belies their own ignorance- theological, practical and biological.

In 1970, my recently widowed grandmother was refused a much needed loan because no man was available to sign her application. Instead, she resorted to asking her 18-year-old, eldest son to sign on her behalf. Thankfully, this appalling and patronising nonsense is now illegal. Instead, it is being stealthily replaced by an equally disturbing ideology; the one denied women basic rights, the other denies their very existence.
