To Stellarise

I attended a conference at the University of Manchester today. This is clearly a great institution, and they were explaining to we delegates the extra mile they go in making their graduates stand out. The word they used for this was stellarise. Manchester stellarises its graduates. I wasn't sure that this was even a word until today. It means to 'make one a star.'

Manchester University is a great place to study. But the gospel truly makes God's people shine like lights in a dark universe:

So that you may become blameless and pure, "children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation." Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.
Philippians 2:15 (NIV)
